Instruction for animal identification transponder

Step 1
Make sure that the animal has not already been implanted by using DW(A)R152 series microchip scanner.
Step 2
Check the integrity of the sterile pouch.
Step 3
Before opening the sterile pouch, read the transponder that is to be implanted.
Check that the code number corresponds to the one printed on the barcode labels
included in the sterile sachet. The transponder is held inside the implanter needle.
Step 4
Open the sterile pouch and remove the plastic cap protecting the needle.
Step 5
Locate the correct implantation site.
Step 6
Always apply regular aseptic precautions. Create a skinfold at the implantation
site and insert the needle to its full length. Depress the piston fully to eject the
transponder. The no-return click system ensures that the transponder is not
aspirated back into the needle after implantation.
Step 7
Scan the newly implanted transponder.
Step 8
Replace the plastic cap of the needle, and safely dispose of the used implanter.
